I am a professional celebrant in Iceland and I put my heart and joy into doing weddings and renewal of vows for all. I am a humanist, a nature lover and outdoor enthusiast – summer and winter! I am also a tour guide here in Iceland and can happily assist with planning and finding the perfect place for the ceremony along with planning private tours for you to amazing hidden spots off the beaten track.
I love doing elopements in Icelandic nature, whether it be in the lava field, on a black beach, by a beautiful waterfall, on the glacier or even inside the glacier… is so different from everything else – Iceland is the perfect place to elope!
I thrive to make your BIG moment so uniquely memorable with a personal approach, including the story of the couple and why they want to marry each other for life, bringing both tears of joy and laughter. I use humour along with beautiful words on life and love, connecting it to the power of Icelandic nature and the setting of the ceremony. I am open minded, live by humanist values as freedom, equality, respect and solidarity. I love meeting people from all parts of the world.
I am cheerful, love to make the couple smile, laugh even, and do my utmost to make that special moment full of love and feelings.
I can do all kinds of traditional rituals like drinking from a viking horn, hand fastening ceremony, celebrate with traditional Icelandic wedding cake and pastry - and other personal wishes to make the wedding unique.
